Shrine built by Fr.S.Joseph at Nattalam and the stone showing that Bishop Marianus Arokia Samy, Bishop of Kottar blessed the shrine on 30.12.1976. The Sword and Axe used by Neela Kanda Pillai during war, carefully preserved in the shrine.
 


This is the victory pillar constructed by the Governor to mark the victory of the King Marthanda Varma over the Dutch army of Colachel in 1741 where the Dutch captain Eustachius Bendictus De Lannoy was taken prisoner. The passage inside Udyagiri Fort to reach St. Theresa's Church where De Lannoy, his family and captain were buried.
 


The tomb of De Lannoy with a write in Latin about him. Shrine built over the miraculous fountain of water always flowing out from the rock ever since Martyr Devashayam quenched his burning thirst during the torture.
 


Water is drawn from the spring with a vessel. The parish church of Our Lady of Sorrows, Aralvaimozhi

Before the martyrdom, the servant of God knelt down here with his elbows on the rock and offered his final prayer to God accepting martyrdom. The marks seen on the rock are impresses made by his knees and elbows. His final prayer is written in Tamil, Malayalam and English. A small shrine has been erected over the place of his final prayer surrendering his soul to God.
 


This is the place where he was shot dead. A cross was planted on the spot. After the martyrdom his body was rolled down and this is the place where his body was lying. A wooden cross is seen there.
 


At the moment of martyrdom most of the rocks were broken into pieces and one piece that fell down rang like a church bell. Even now it sounds like a bell when hit by a stone. St. Francis Xavier's Cathedral Church at Kottar and the main altar are seen here.
